Blades Of Steel Announces New Single "Riders Of The Night" Featuring Special Guest Prika Amaral (Nervosa)

The Brazilian traditional heavy metal band Blades Of Steel announces the release of their single “Riders Of The Night,” coming to all digital platforms on July 25th. The track features a very special collaboration with Prika Amaral, guitarist and vocalist of the renowned band Nervosa, one of the most relevant names in the national and international extreme metal scene today.

The new single was born as a personal tribute from Yara Haag (vocals) to Prika Amaral — more than an admired artist, a friend and source of inspiration.

“Prika has always encouraged me a lot, always gave me valuable advice... I wanted to create something from the heart that would capture her essence: a free woman who faces the world with courage. This song is a tribute to those who represent metal in a true and intense way,” says Yara.

Beyond admiration, the track also celebrates a shared passion between the two: motorcycles. “It’s about hitting the road, feeling the wind on your face, and living freedom. But it’s also a tribute to this incredible woman, a force of nature in Brazilian metal,” she adds.

Guitarist Jonas Soares highlights the creative process behind the song as unique:

“We wanted to blend the biker atmosphere with the weight of traditional heavy metal and the energy of thrash, represented by Prika. The result is visceral and emotional. The lyrics perfectly capture the feeling of starting the bike and hitting the road toward freedom.”

“Riders Of The Night” was produced by Val Santos (Viper, Toyshop, Brutal Brega) and features a much fuller, heavier sound focused on guitar riffs.

A stunning music video will also be released on the same day, featuring scenes filmed with Prika and a team of friends and collaborators who have followed the band’s journey. Shot in an atmosphere of total commitment, spontaneity, intensity, fun, and lots of metal. More than just a visual production, the video promises to showcase genuine moments between artists and friends sharing the same passion for music.

In addition to Yara Haag (vocals), Jonas Soares (guitar), and Filippe Tonini (bass), “Riders Of The Night” features Rafael Romanelli (guitar) and Bruno Carbonato (drums).
